Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you request a quote from, book, or use services from Junk Removal Pros LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we," "us"). By booking a job you agree to these Terms and to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Services

We provide junk removal and hauling, cleanouts (estate, garage, basement, attic, rental and commercial), construction debris removal and light demolition (such as sheds, decks, fences, playsets and hot tubs) in Forest, Lynchburg and the surrounding area. The exact scope of each job is what we agree on with you before work starts.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are free. Estimates given from photos or descriptions may change after we see the items in person. We confirm your final price on site before loading. Pricing is based on volume, meaning how much space your items take up in our truck. Some items that need special handling or carry extra disposal fees (such as mattresses, tires or appliances with refrigerant) may cost extra. If so, we'll tell you before loading.

3. Payment

We accept cash, check, and credit and debit cards. Card payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. Jobs quoted over $1,000 require a deposit to reserve your date, and the deposit is applied to your final balance. The remaining balance is due when the job is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Your responsibilities

• Confirm that you own the items or are authorized to have them removed, and that you are authorized to give us access to the property.
• Clearly identify what should be removed and what should stay.
• Give us reasonable access, including a safe path to the items and a place to park our truck or trailer.
• Tell us in advance about hazardous materials, heavy items (such as pianos, safes or hot tubs) and any known structural issues, utilities, or underground lines near demolition work.
• For light demolition, you are responsible for any permits required by your locality or HOA, and for shutting off and disconnecting any utilities (such as electrical, water or gas lines) before we arrive, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Items we don't accept

We don't remove hazardous materials, including paint, solvents, chemicals, fuel, oil, propane or other pressurized tanks, asbestos, biohazards, medical waste or anything regulated as hazardous waste. We may refuse any item we believe is unsafe or that we can't legally haul or dispose of.

6. Disposal, donation and recycling

Once items are loaded, they become our responsibility to dispose of, donate or recycle at our discretion, in line with applicable laws. Removed items can't be returned.

7. Care of property and limitation of liability

Junk Removal Pros LLC carries general liability insurance. We work carefully, but moving heavy items can cause normal wear such as scuffs to floors, walls, lawns or driveways. To the fullest extent allowed by Virginia law, our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Damage claims must be reported within 7 days of service as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

8. Scheduling and delays

Arrival windows are estimates. We aren't responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, road conditions, equipment problems or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We'll keep you informed.

9. Communications

By giving us your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your quote or job by call, text or email. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Bedford County, Virginia, unless otherwise required by law. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you book a job applies to that job.
